HubSpot Integration to Aioma

How does the HubSpot integration work?

Thanks to HubSpot integration, contacts you received via Aioma Hub can directly be synced with HubSpot.

Step 1: Copy the HubSpot Portal ID

Click on your profile icon in the upper right corner. A window will then open where your portal ID is visible. In the example below, it is 2819908. Copy this for later use.

Step 2: Copy the Hubspot API Key

Select the settings icon in the upper right corner. Then click on "Integrations" in the middle left corner.

When the drop-down menu expands, you can select the "API Key" option. In the menu that opens, you can copy your API key for the integration by clicking on "View" and "Copy". Please remember not to share the secret key with anyone but your Aioma Customer Success Manager.

Once you have copied the key, send it along with your HubSpot ID to your Aioma Customer Success Manager. You should receive a link very soon. Copy it into your web browser and follow the instructions in the pop-up window. If everything is okey you should end up on


To test the integration, open any page with a form, enter the form data, and submit it. Now go to "Contacts" on HubSpot. Here you should see the contact created with the data you submitted. You can submit the same form with the same email and change either the first or last name to update your HubSpot contact. Your Customer Success Manager will be happy to assist you with this as well.

Currently, there are four properties that can be synced with HubSpot:

  1. Product relevance
  2. Journey stage
  3. Last newsletter sent
  4. Checkbox: Contact signed up for newsletter (Yes / No)
All contacts are synced once a day, except when someone fills out a form, then the contact is immediately synced with HubSpot.
If you want to delete a contact from the systems, it is best to do it on HubSpot, as a contact from Aioma Hub will then be synced back in.
